Ghetto Kids Unfortunately Exit America’s Got Talent. The Triplets Ghetto Kids couldn’t make it to the next round which would have been the finals of the America’s Got Talent spin-off. Apparently, the Ugandan teenage dancers took to the stage and entertained the audience with their moves and dances.
They performed their own song in Luganda which has a cultural vibe to it. Also, they went ahead to spice it up with some traditional dances that threw everyone off their feet.
Everyone in the hall was left applauding them as they gave them a round of applause. When it came to the judges, each one of them had nothing short of praise for the youngsters. Simon Cowell said that what they had just done is what the show should be all about.
“There was a lot of pressure especially where you’re at this stage of the competition and to perform your own song as well oh my goodness. I don’t know what it was but there was a little bit of magic potion in it. And this is what this show should all be about.”
Apparently, the cash prize was Shs 900m but the dancers missed out. Last year they took part in the Britain’s Got Talent show and finished 6th. For the past couple of years, the group has raised the Ugandan flag high.
They performed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Met with several footballers and dancers and recently performed at the opening ceremony of the Africa Cup of Nations.
