Ever since his rise to stardom, the Fangone Forest boss has set and broken a couple of records. These were either standing for a long time or were set by him. So without further ado, below are some of the records the Sitya Danger singer has set or broken.
Alien Skin is the first Ugandan musician to rise from TikTok and conquer the industry. A couple of musicians rose from TikTok especially in the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the majority of these either released just one hit song or didn’t last more than a year. The Fangone boss is still standing and going strong.
Besides, Alien Skin is the first Ugandan singer to release a song almost every week and they become hits. The Lockdown singer has many songs and most of them are hits. Whereas some musicians release a song and wait for it to become a hit and then wind out, Kimenke doesn’t. Before even a song even becomes a big hit, he’s already released another.
Alien Skin is also the first singer to resurrect the dead. We have all heard about the singer having the electricity (Yaliko amadanyalaze). Whoever he touches definitely resurrects. Musicians such as Clever J, Aziz Azion, Diana Nalubega who had long been dormant were given a breath of fresh air by the singer.
He’s the first Ugandan singer to hit 100k subscribers on YouTube quickly. As of now, the singer has about 116k subscribers on the music sharing platform. There are very big singers who have been on the scene for decades but don’t even have 50k subscribers.
Furthermore, Alien Skin is the first musician in Uganda to defeat mainstream media. Apparently most of his songs don’t play on most mainstream media channels. Several media houses and presenters tried to fight him. But they later realized they were wasting time. They thought they could cancel his music from playing and he would suffocate in a few months. Kimenke did not bow to their demands and stood strong and slowly they are the ones befriending him now.
On top of that, he’s the first musici to hold a record breaking concert without advertising. Back in June, the Party singer held his debut concert at Freedom City following his fight with Pallaso. The concert was organized in a few days and what happened at the venue is proof that he’s a big gun.
Besides, Alien Skin is the first singer defeat Abtex. Most musicians fear coming out against the veteran events promoter due to alleged fears of witchcraft and foul play. However, after falling out with the promoter, he organized his Nkwacho festival on the same day as Abtex’s Enkuuka. And without a doubt, he floored the promoter.
Clashes with Bobi Wine
On top of that, he’s the first musician to give NUP and Bobi Wine a headache. Most musicians such as Bebe Cool, Big Eye, Eddy Kenzo, Ronald Mayinja, Dr Jose Chameleone have faced backlash from NUP. Despite standing strong, they have at one point broken down. However, the unruly boss made it clear from day one that he doesn’t want to be associated with Bobi Wine and his NUP party.
This earned him backlash from the party supporters and he definitely hit back with fire. Alien taunted them by saying he was going to join politics and announced the Fangone Unity Platform (FUP). On several occasions, he has clashed with NUP and showed that he can’t bow to their demands. He also revealed how he denied Bobi Wine a collabo. Definitely, not even Bobi Wine received the love and support from fans Alien has got while still an active musician. It’s fair to say Alien has defeated the principal and his foot soldiers.
It’s on record that the Ready Fi War singer even created divisions in NUP. There are several fans who decided to stand with him and hit out at the party as they love him more. Also many thought that he had a short life span in the industry but it’s a new year and he’s still standing strong.
