It seems like singer Reagan Muhairwe aka Ray G’s concert might be facing some unexpected problems after he seemingly fell out with the promoter, Nobat Events. It should be noted that this concert is slated for May 10th at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Several big name musicians such as Spice Diana, Sheebah Karungi, Fik Fameica, Lydia Jazmine have already endorsed and given it their blessing. Fans are also hugely anticipating it and don’t expect anything unfortunate to happen in the buildup.
However it seems Nobat Events is not happy with the Nunu singer. In a social media recording obtained by this website, he said that he’s going to teach Ray G a very severe unforgettable lesson.
This is because it was the singer who sought his help, not the other way around. He should know that he’s not just like the musicians from Kampala who go to perform in Mbarara and the singer disrespects them from there.
According to Nobat, he’s the one who has been organizing everything but his name is nowhere on the poster. Besides, Ray G has brought people on board that Nobat has no idea about. On top of that, the money from sponsors such as MTN goes directly to Ray G’s pocket.
Additionally, it’s like the Forever singer is the promoter and Nobat is the singer. Asides from that, Nobat said that it’s him that URA contacts to provide accountability yet he’s also been locked out by the singer.
