Mufumbiro stealing a car. Social Media has been left in shock after a video of NUP’s deputy spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro was nabbed stealing a car. The incident is said to have happened at one of the Cafe Javas branches.
In the video availed, Mufumbiro can be seen on the counter surfing the menu. Another lady comes and tries to check the menu. She places her car keys on the counter. The NUP motor mouthed spokesperson maneuvers around and finally covers the keys with the menu.
Stealthily, he moves out and and it’s said that this is where he contacts his group of goons to come and pick up the car. However, the woman inside quickly notices that her car keys are missing and informs the management.
They quickly chain the car to prevent it from being driven away. Noticing that his plan has been foiled, Mufumbiro quickly drives away. However, less did he know that he had been captured on CCTV stealing these car keys.
When he was contacted, he came back and gave in the car keys but management rejected them. They told him to take them to the Police station since it was now a Police case. He sought out this lady and offered to sort the situation outside court which the lady rejected.
However, it’s further reported that he threatened to harm her with his goons. She finally accepted to negotiate. But seeing that she couldn’t handle the pressure, she reported to Police.
Netizens have been left shocked about this incident as they didn’t think that he could do such a thing. This is because he’s been at the forefront of calling out Hon Mathias Mpuuga over the Shs 500m he got from parliament as gratuity for his leader of Opposition job.
Sources also claim that Mufumbiro stole a TV screen when he was at Uganda Christian University (UCU) in Mukono around 2007. This was at a time he was one of the guild leaders. Mufumbiro stealing a car
