Azawi and Bobi Wine collaboration. Over the past couple of years, songstress Priscilla Zawedde aka Azawi has proved to be one of the best things to happen to the Ugandan music industry. With just a couple of years, she’s released timeless music and worked with some big musicians in the country and overseas.
Azawi was asked about the prospect of working with the ghetto gladiator, H.E Bobi Wine. The My Year singer said that this is a very enticing prospect to her. She even recently had a conversation about the self styled ghetto gladiator.
And if an opportunity arises, she would gladly grab it. Additionally, she says that she loves Bobi Wine because he used to sing about very relatable stuff. Therefore an opportunity is something she would gladly jump on. However, she would only work with Bobi Wine and not Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu. This means the song has to be an entertainment piece and not a political one.
“I would for sure love to work with Bobi Wine because I have worked with very many other singers in my career. However, I would only do this for music purposes and nothing else. I simply love that guy because he used to sing relatable about things,” revealed Azawi.
Meanwhile, the singer this week released the captivating visuals of her Summer Bae song with Jamaican dancehall singer Konshens. It was shot in Uganda and directed by Swangz Avenue’s Marvin Musoke.
Despite the video having some explicit dancers, Azawi said that they tried to keep it as clean as possible. Azawi and Bobi Wine collaboration.
