We are going to be ranking the most beautiful queens in Uganda today since the Pearl of Africa has some of the most beautiful ladies in the world. And one of the attributes of a queen should be her physical beauty.
Uganda has several kingdoms such as Tooro, Buganda, Bunyoro, Busoga, Nkore, Bugisu, Rwenzururu among others. However, most of the kingdoms didn’t survive the 1966 abolition of traditional institutions.
Apparently there are only 5 kingdoms with significance. They include Buganda, Tooro, Busoga, Bunyoro ams Rwenzururu. So without much noise, let’s take a look at the most beautiful queens in Uganda.
5.Queen Agnes Ithungu Asiimawe (Rwenzururu kingdom)
She’s the queen of the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu. And the wife to Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere. Apparently she got married to Mumbere in 2008 aged 19.
They have two children, Wesley Albert Asimawe and Joyce Furaha. Rwenzururu kingdom is located in western Uganda, located in the Rwenzori Mountains on the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Additionally it includes the districts of Bundibugyo, Kasese and Ntoroko.
4.Queen Best Kemigisha Akiiki (Tooro Kingdom)
Well she wouldn’t be the queen of Tooro but her son, Rukirabasaija Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Amooti Rukidi IV who is the reigning Omukama of Tooro Kingdom is yet marry.
She was born in 1967 making her 56 years old. Queen Kemigisha was married to King Patrick Olimi Kaboyo II who suddenly passed away in 1996.
Together, they had two children, Omubiitokati (Princess) Ruth Nsemere Komuntale and Oyo Nyimba.
Meanwhile Tooro Kingdom is located in the western part of Uganda. It includes the following districts, Bunyangabu District, Kabarole District, Kamwenge District, Kyegegwa District, Kyenjojo District and Kitagwenda District.
3. Queen Margaret Karunga Adyeri (Bunyoro Kingdom)
She’s barely in the public eye but Queen Margaret Karunga Adyeri is one of the most beautiful queens. Traditionally, she’s known as Omugo.
Apparently, she’s married to Omukama is Rukirabasaija Solomon Iguru I Gafabusa Amooti. The Queen of Bunyoro Kingdom was born in 1982 rendering her 41 years old.
She has two children with the Omukama of Bunyoro. These are Crown Prince David Rukidi Mpuuga and Omubiitokati (princess) Daisy Masamba Nkwanzi.
Bunyoro Kingdom is also found in the western part of Uganda. It’s made up by the following districts, Buliisa District, Hoima District, Kagadi District, Kakumiro District, Kibaale District, Kikuube District, Kiryandongo District, Masindi District.
2.Queen Jovia Mutesi (Busoga Kingdom)
Everyone at least knows her by now especially following the multi-billion wedding between her and the Kyabazinga. It took place last month in Bugembe at the Royal Palace.
Referred to as the Inhebantu she was born in 1992 meaning she’s 31 years old. Queen Mutesi is an absolutely beautiful and worthy queen. The Basoga are really blessed to have her.
As of now, she’s yet to have any children with her husband, the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV.
Busoga Kingdom is located in western Uganda. The kingdom is made up by the following districts, Kamuli, Iganga, Bugiri, Mayuge, Jinja, Luuka, and the new districts of Bugweri, Buyende, Kaliro,Namutumba and Namayingo District.
1.Queen Sylvia Nagginda (Buganda Kingdom)
Without a doubt the Queen of Buganda is the most popular queen in the country and also globally. She’s locally referred to as Nabagerekka. Well she’s the wife of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
The couple walked down the aisle in 1999 in a ceremony that is still praised up to now. Together, they have one child, a daughter, Katrina Ssangalyambogo.
Well her beauty since the old days hasn’t faded a bit. She still looks beautiful and hasn’t aged a single bit.
On top of that she’s had the biggest impact on different aspects in the country. This is through initiatives such as Ekisaakaate which empowers young people with different skills. For all that, she tops the list of the most beautiful queens in Uganda.
Buganda Kingdom is located in Uganda. And is made up by the following districts;- Kampala, Mpigi, Wakiso, Butambala, Gomba, Mukono, Buvuma, Buikwe, Kalangala, Masaka, Kalungu, Lwengo, Mubende, Mityana, Nakasongola, Nakaseke, Kyankwanzi, Kiboga, Rakai, Lyantonde.
