Musicians Pallaso and Sheebah Karungi have received recognition from artist Edirisa Musuuza, often known as Eddy Kenzo, for their unwavering support of copyright legislation.
Kenzo clarified that although many artists have given up early in the struggle, Pallaso and Sheebah have persisted and have not yet seen any fruition.
He exhorted other artists to share their conviction and dedication in order to succeed in their fight for copyright legislation.
“I want to thank people like Pallaso and Sheebah for not giving up on this fight. They have remained steadfast and walked with me up to this point, and I know we shall be remembered for putting our careers on pause and championing a cause,” he said in part.
Kenzo is certain that artists will prevail in their battle for copyright laws and is unconcerned about those who disagree.
